Bay Racers Tournament
Hayward 2007
|
It was great to race above the bay again! What an awesome location for a flyball tournament. Strike Force Raiders of the Lost Box, a Division 2 team, joined teams from all over California and Nevada last weekend to race at University of California at Hayward. High up on the hill, with a spectacular view of the bay. Ralph and I stayed in our trailer in the parking lot, and enjoyed that view late into the night from our front porch. Our team consisted of Pat Hall with Jake and Wee-Bee, Bob Ekin with Cody, Patty Marty with Daisy, and Ralph and I with Reno, Einstein, and Gypsy. Our boxloader was one of our newest members, Tim Toy of Gridley, who brought his Toy Aussie, Shelby, along to introduce him to the atmosphere. We placed third in our division both days, and Tim did an awesome job boxloading for the team. We faced opposition from an incredibly tough field of Division 2 teams. We were also fortunate to be able to meet some new friends. Thank you, Bay Racers, for another great tournament! Barbara Darrow 8/13/07
